My goodness this blogging can be frustrating!! It took me at least 30 min to figure out how to add a new post, uggh!
Whew, now that that is out, I can talk about unit 3's questions.
My physical is probably rated at a 3-4. I am not to active in my life right now. I get up at 3:30 AM to do school work and by the evening rolls around, I am spent! One of the things that I have learned was to incorporate exercises in my day, like parking further away from the store. I have been a little more relaxed but plan to start it back up.
I would rate my spiritual well-being as probably a 7. I feel there is always room to grow here. Sure there are days that number is not that high but in the end I know that God loves me no matter what! He knows my tough days and days that I am angry or sad and that does not matter to him. He does UNDERSTAND!
If one area I could improve on is just spending more alone time with him. I have started leaving the radio off in the care and just allowing my self to be more open to his ideas.
And my psychosocial well being, well I relate that to how my relationship is with God so I would have to say about a 6-7. It is hard to classify these because they each affect the other in so many ways. I feel by spending more time with God, then my mind is not bothered by other things that probably should not matter as much.
I can recall my pastor saying "take a look at your relationship with your spouse, how that is going is how your relationship is with God" It is really true. You should try it, you might surprise yourself....
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI agree with you!! Blogging can be very frustrating. I feel like it is jsut like our discussion boards on a different website. I enjoy the exercises though. I have to agree with you that there is always room to grow in our spiritual lives. I never really thought jof your relationship with your spouse being like your relationship with God. Now that I have sat back and evaluated mine, it is kind of true. I guess there is room for imporvements and growth in any relationship! Have a great week!
Casy,
ReplyDeleteBlogging is new to me too and it does seem alot like our discussion boards but more free speech time. We are not being graded on our content and we can really open up to each other or as much as we want to. That has value to me and I hope to you. You sound very busy and yet grounded in your faith.
Best to you on building up to a little more exercise in your week. I like your idea of simply parking further away for a little extra walking!
Therese
Casey,
ReplyDeleteI have parked the car further away from the store for years. I am beginning to take more time to reach for things also. It is also room to grow with God. It is a miracle each day. I am so blessed. We are going to master this blogging!
Casey I must say parking the car further from the door is something that many need to implement into their daily lives. We are all so spoiled that we will circle the parking lot to find the closet park, especially me. I can also encourage you to take the stairs instead of the elevator at the store and at work. I like your thought of what your pastor said about your relationship with your husband and God, what a great message. Advise I would give to get closer with God in addition to what you are doing now, is start talking to God the same way as you talk to anyone else that you hold dear to your heart. People confuse talking to God like we have to have a script to say, just open up to him as a regular conversation you would have with anyone else.
ReplyDeleteYou did great! I still don't know how to add new posts.lol.
